Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP's tax practice is headed by partner, Rob Ocko, who holds an LLM in tax from the New York University School of Law and clerked for the Hon. William Fay in the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ocko provides tax planning and advice in structuring sophisticated corporate, business and real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions of businesses and real estate. He also provides tax advice in connection with corporate, partnership and Sub S tax issues and represents clients in tax controversy proceedings with the Internal Revenue Service, as well as state tax agencies.
Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP's trusts and estates practice includes estate and lifetime planning and the drafting of wills, trusts and related instruments to implement such estate and lifetime planning. The firm represents individuals in all aspects of probate and administration proceedings in the Surrogate's Courts of New York State including will contests and judicial accountings. Our firm also prepares and files Federal and State Estate Tax returns and represents our clients in Federal and State estate tax audits and tax proceedings.
