Gabrielle P. Heffernan is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance Defense Practice group, with her main focus on the defense of various entities against personal injury claims, including premises liability and construction accidents involving the New York Labor Law. Gabrielle’s litigation practice prior to joining Harrington, Ocko & Monk, LLP, involved representation of individuals, commercial property owners and community living associations (co-op/condo/HOA). Gabrielle started her career representing public school districts in the State of New York in various respects including in New York State Commissioner of Education appeals, tax certiorari, labor and personnel matters, collective bargaining, and contract negotiation.
Gabrielle received her B.A. in Political Science from Seton Hall University in 2018, and earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 2021. While at NYU, Gabrielle completed a clinical externship with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York.
