The real estate practice group attorneys represent owners, developers and contractors/subcontractors on a myriad of development and new construction projects in New York City and Westchester County. Our lawyers have the sophisticated legal knowledge, business acumen and practical experience it takes to ensure that the various components of a real estate development project are achieved in an efficient, time-sensitive and cost-effective manner. Whether it involves a residential development, a mixed-use project, a commercial lease build-out or a new commercial building, our lawyers are well prepared to handle it. Harrington, Ocko & Monk real estate attorneys have extensive experience negotiating and drafting contracts with owners, contractors, architects and other design professionals, as well as facilitating and negotiating debt and equity financings. Our attorneys work collaboratively and creatively across practice groups. If a problem arises, which happens from time to time, for instance, the event of a breach of a contract, or the failure to pay money owed to a client, our real estate lawyers, with the assistance of our litigation attorneys, are easily equipped to help to enforce the terms of the contracts and achieve an optimal result.
