Harrington, Ocko & Monk’s Trusts and Estates practice group represents individuals and families in estate and succession planning, estate and trust administration and estate and trust litigation. The Trusts and Estates practice group works collaboratively with the Corporate and Real Estate practice groups to provide a broad range of sophisticated counseling to families and their businesses and real estate holdings. Such matters often involve drafting agreements to protect the older generation of a business or real estate portfolio while planning for the transfer of ownership interests over time in a tax advantaged manner. Our attorneys are very sensitive to this delicate balance of the control of a business versus the tax and other benefits of transferring ownership.
