Brian Mayer is an associate in the Insurance Defense practice group. Brian works on various tort matters including construction site accidents, complex premises liability issues, and claims brought under the newly enacted Child Victims Act.
Brian earned his J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in 2018. During all three years of his legal studies, Brian also worked part time as a law clerk at a Plaintiff’s firm, learning critical strategies, procedures, and practical concerns of each stage of civil litigation; from initial investigation of a claim prior to commencing an action, through post-judgment collection efforts. Prior to joining Harrington, Ocko, & Monk, LLP in the spring of 2019, Brian was an associate at a Commercial Litigation Firm where he handled a variety of commercial disputes and insurance subrogation matters.
Brian is also a sports enthusiast. His interests/leisure activities include: frequent hiking trips throughout the country, occasional golf outings around the NYC metro area, and participating in a competitive Manhattan soccer league each week.
