Stephanie is a litigation partner in the Insurance Defense practice group handling matters in state and federal courts. She attended St. Johns University School of Law and served as an Editor for the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary.
Stephanie’s career in litigation started with work at a Plaintiff’s personal injury practice, following which she transferred over to the world of insurance defense in a variety of personal injury matters representing business owners, property owners, contractors, community homeowners associations, school districts and camps. Stephanie worked for years in the field of disability and special education law, specifically on a grant from the New York State Education Department, affording her with a unique perspective on many of our matters involving education and special needs service settings. Most recently, Stephanie worked defending public school districts in a variety of legal and litigation related matters, including general liability and special education. Here at HOM, Stephanie focuses her practice on premises liability, general negligence, construction, and Labor Law claims, as well as Child Victim Act sexual abuse litigation.
